We spent the Saturday in Makati again. I also met Kristine in Megamall and Vhyns was really kind enough to accompany me. We exchanged lots of catching up talk during lunch. And just before we parted after a hearty lunch, Tintin handed over the folder of bank notes to me. Yipee…so happy to see my very own souvenir of my beloved alma mater’s 100th year anniversary.
After lunch, Vhyns and I went shopping already! We were supposed to just find a travelling bag for her boyfriend, Dale, but before we reached Sportshouse, Vhyns found nice dresses displayed on one store and dragged me in so we can try them on. We ended up buying 2 dresses each. Mine was an advance bday gift though. So sweet, isn't she?
Then we went hunting for shoes. We went in a couple of stores but I unfortunately do not have the size available for the styles I liked. After that, we went out of each stores we visit with disappointed looks painted on our faces. But then in the end we settled for the thought that maybe we're not meant to find the shoes that we need there. At least, we still have an excuse to shop some more! he he...
We spent 4 great bonding hours at the mall. I went home happy because I finally found me a great bag for my bday. Tibs promised me a bag for my birthday and I was really glad to be bringing it with home already with me. Vhynes was drooling with envy. We capped the day by having our feet enjoy a relaxing hour of foot spa. Yey. It’s really nice to spend a day just pampering myself. :D

Mommy Journal - 062108
I had my first toxoid shot today. That was after waiting for 3 hours for the doctor. Well, really – blame it on the weather. Wind was really at its worst as we view the streets from the clinic but we had no choice but to wait since we really wasted 3 hours sitting and counting ships. Best thing that happened though – I felt the baby’s first movements with my hands. Tibs was already napping and I had to really wake him and forcefully place his hand on the lower right side of my abdomen and make him wait for the short twitches. He was not disappointed. A few minutes after, the baby moved again. And finally, he had that smile plastered on his face. Like he finally, finally felt like he had some sort of participation in this whole journey. It was wonderful. Thank God we had that to enjoy while we endure the wait and pray that we get home safe before the typhoon reaches full blast.
